Murat Neguzel began tailoring at the age of twelve, entering the craft through the guidance of a family elder and learning the foundations of the profession from the ground up. His early years were spent mastering needlework, hand stitching, construction techniques and the discipline of traditional tailoring. During his apprenticeship and journeyman years, Murat developed expertise across trousers, waistcoats, jackets, tuxedos, overcoats, shirts, tailcoats and formal garments. He refined his knowledge of draping, cutting, pattern making and body analysis, learning how posture, shoulder balance, body curves and individual proportions must be translated into the pattern before a garment can truly fit. After working alongside respected masters and continuing his fashion education, Murat’s journey took him from Turkey’s distinguished tailoring circles to international fashion environments. He later settled in the United Kingdom and spent two years working on Savile Row, the world-renowned home of bespoke tailoring. Today, Murat serves private clients in London, Winchester, across the United Kingdom and internationally. His work brings together Turkish craftsmanship, British elegance and a deeply personal approach to tailoring.
